Death Of A Doornail
- Eccentric Millionaire, Albert Doornale has invited all of his close friends to his estate; including his ex-wife Abigail, his current fiance Candy Bombay, and his childhood friend from the lower East Side, Salvatore Carbone. Everyone arrives at the estate greeted by the grumpy Butler and cutlery carrying cook. The only problem is, Albert is not there, no one has seen him. Not his nerdy Nephew or his socially spoiled daughter. None of the guest have any idea why they are there or what happened to their host. That is until blood is found in the upstairs bathroom. Was Albert killed and carried away? In the nick of time, Inspector Bukowski arrives on the scene. A murder investigation will begin, as soon as a body is found. It may be a long wait.
Murder Me Always
During a very bad performance of "Murder Me Always" , an actual murder takes place off stage. The Director is shot. The "fake" play comes to a screeching halt and a "real" murder mystery begins. It seems a "Murder Mystery Murderer" is on the loose and has struck again. Luckily, Detective Joe Mamet, a Raymond Chandler Pulp type gumshoe has staked out the audience and rises to the occasion to begin an investigation. Could it be that one of these very bad actors is really a very bad person? Will this "real" murder mystery be any better than the fake one? Is art imitating life? Is the play really the thing?
I'm Getting Murdered In The Morning
During the garter toss at Brenda and Eddie's Wedding Reception, a mysterious man falls dead on the dance floor from a gunshot. Luckily the bride's father -the wealthy Harold Montague -invited Damage control expert Mr. Parker to the event. Parker tries "spinning" the murder as "nothing to worry about" but Society columnist Mary Berger insists "something be done". Not only was a man shot during the garter toss but it seems the mysterious Dead Man has ties to both the Groom and Bride's family. Secrets that both sides do not wish to reveal. None the less, with some persuasion of Mr. Parker, the reception continues as planned and the Mystery takes a back seat. For a while.
An Audition For A Murder
A Theatre group is holding auditions for a Murder Mystery called "Death of A Disco Dancer". The problem is they don't have a finished script. Jim Culter- the playwright arrives in the nick of time with a few more copies and a few more finished pages just as one of the actors mysteriously dies. As luck would have it, Jim has brought Inspector Bonnie Brauvera along to the auditions to serve as Technical advisor for the play. Perhaps the investigation into this "mysterious death" will inspire the playwright and help him finish the play. After all, there is a read-through on Monday.
The Snow Day Monologues (one act) non-murder mystery
Six different students at home on a school snow day. Each one passes the time in different ways - through intertwining monologues. Brittney struggles with her identity, her fashion and a severe lack of true friends. Herb creates a web video about his struggles with the school bully and philosophy on life. Simone fights boredom as well the idea her creepy neighbor may be buried in a snow drift. Todd is anxious to catch up on homework and finish a book report. Only problem is all of his books are in his locker at school.
